In our last issue, we shared about our opportunity to go on Woodall's Campground Magazine's Park Update show to talk about our glamping business journey. One of the hosts, Mike Gast, former vice president of communications for Kampgrounds of America (KOA), reached out to us afterwards to discuss an opportunity in another publication. Gast writes for Glamping Business Americas magazine and he and the magazine's editor decided they wanted to do a series of articles following our journey. As you know, we enjoy sharing our journey with others and in this particular series, we hope to be a help to others who are also trying to start a glamping resort. Mike also had the opportunity to potentially help peers in his first and current profession, pharmacy. Pharmacist and professor at Mike's alma mater, Ferris State University, Dr. David Bright, reached out to Mike to ask him to join him as a guest on the Your Financial Pharmacist podcast. Co-hosted with Dr. Nate Hedrick, the three discussed Mike's pathway to becoming a pharmacist, some unique investing strategies he and Melissa have been blessed to be able to employ, and a little about the glamping business. It was a very enjoyable show to do.
